The first thing that we at Lyrics would like to express is that this is a Literate RPG Site. Posts on the site should consist of at least one paragraph, that is three to five sentences in the least. The reason that we only require a one paragraph post is because we do understand that writers occasionally are blocked and ideas do not come easily, but if you consistently posts one liners. You will be warned 10%. One liners consist of posts that are only one line(one sentence) or long posts that have only one line for the person that you are role playing with to reply to, making it then difficult for them to reply. So if you would, please try your hardest to stay away from one-liners! We, as staff, don't like warning out members, we'd rather just have a good time with each and every member.
As far as posting font goes, we are pretty lienant, just try not to make it too hard to read for the rest of the members. We wouldn't want you to have font that looked like this in your post:
It wasn't like the rest of the days in Atlanta, no, this day was different. Not the weather, not the traffic; the people. The people seemed to change today, as if there were some kind of spell put on the city at night. Instead of the people of Atlanta being so busy, the citizens actually seemed like they were careless. Well, isn't that was holidays tend to do?
Rather wouldn't you like something that you could see, like this?:

Lyricas is a site that expects its members to respect one another, and that applies for the staff and guests as well. Do not be rude to guests please, we want them to join, not be scared away because of our members being rude to them. Also, we understand that sometimes, people do not agree and do not like each other. But please do not fight out of character on the C-Box or in the out of character boards, if you truly must have an argument, we would prefer that you did it over PM. Lyrics staff members do not tolerate: Harassment, Hacking or anything of that sort. If you push our buttons, and test our limits, your account will be suspended and/or banned. If we have to, we will ban IP Addresses as well.
Once you are a registered and confirmed member of the site, please change your display name to that of your characters name. That can be done by modifying your profile, it's as easy as one, two, three. We would also prefer that you had an avatar since the other members would probably like to be able to see what your character looks like. If you are having any trouble finding an avatar, or anything like that. Just ask someone on the staff to help you with that and they will gladly. Also, please do not post in any of the in character boards until your character has been accepted by one admin at least. All Characters must have a play by, that is a person that your character is portrayed by so that we can at least see one picture of the character. Or have a better understanding of what they look like.
And now for when you are applying for a character, Kristine wrote these lovely rules!
WARNING: This site deals with mature themes. Not always but in that case- a mature audience is appreciated.
Also. only HUMAN characters please. No werewolves, vampires, witches, super humans. Characters that believe in witch craft are allowed- but no atually witches. Like the "You're a frog!" witches are allowed. Sorry, but this is strictly human, no animal characters either, save for the pets your character has.
Thank you!
